Welcome to Bay8! I’m super excited to have you here. If you don’t know already, I’m Bang Chan — a 6th-Class Sorcerer, having mastered both the Trenchant and Irenic paths. As your student ambassador, it’s my job to help you adjust to the program and integrate you into your new life.
Don’t be afraid to come to me if you have any questions! Since I’ve been here for so long, you’d be hard-pressed to come up with a question I can’t answer; but I’m excited for you to try!
Please be mindful of and respect the rules! It might seem tempting to break them, but they’re there for your own protection. Especially everything in place about memory. You’re here for a new beginning — everything about your old life is gone, and you’re free to create the best version of you.
You’ll have these first three months to learn all about the Trenchants and the Irenics, and to study the basics of magic. Both options are amazing and worthwhile endeavors, and I can’t wait to see which path you’ll take! Be sure to spend lots of time in both the Trenchant Keep and the Irenic Hospice, and don’t be afraid to make friends with people from both paths! There’s no competition here, just the search for knowledge.
